Description of my dress....

The sculptured strapless bodice with dropped waistline is elaborately decorated with embroidery and crystals, and features a peaked empire, inset band. Inverted pleats surround the skirt with a wide hemline band onto the chapel length train. color: ivory/ice blue

Here is a link to the flower girl dress that sort of matches mine....the beading is similar....

Hi Priscilla!

WOW! That " Running of the Brides" sounds like QUITE the experience!
I saw the news stories of it archived online! Amazing! I think it's great you were able to experience it first hand! I was happy to read you found a mirror, because I read some girls bring their own in case there are not enough! I read some bring "people" to guard their dresses! And then I saw others with signs, offering to"trade" one dress for another! Looked like it can get pretty crazy!I think it is a great accomplishment that you "survived" the process and WERE able to find the Princess dress of your dreams! The link you posted looks really lovely! It is very elegant! You will be a beautiful Bride! Of course, there was never any question of THAT ! :-)

The plans sound like they are all coming together very nicely!
This is a very special time! ENJOY!!

Love, Kathleen

Wow...what a "dress story" you have to tell! I loved it! How fun to find "the one" that way and to get such an awesome bargain! Amazing! I bet it's beautiful on you and I can't wait to see it in person next summer! Good for you for going by yourself and fighting the masses of those other crazy, ravenous brides! :) You should be proud of yourself! You'll make a beautiful July bride and Matt is lucky to be taking you as his wife! Keep us posted on all the wedding plans. Love hearing all about it!
Love, Kel :)

Hello my dear friends from afar! I love when you post comments on my page!:)
I feel as though I should clarify just a bit...yes, I did experience "Running of the Brides" but I didn't get there at 8am, but more like 5pm, after work! I don't have enough guts to battle other crazy brides! :)
But I do have to say, it was a great experience and I do have a great story!:)
xoxo
